Sings the Sounds of Summer

Alone Again 03:16
Alone again The smoke above the old refinery The bluest sea You look towards the drifting sky above. The town it ends Turn our bikes and back before the dark A shifting breeze I realize I never said I'd like to stay We're floating away. And when it rains Laughing under shelters afternoon My favourite song You play it for the candles in the dark. The windowpane The night itself communicating things Morning comes You think you'll stay behind again it's just to say We're floating away.

Breathing 03:37
I dropped my bike on the side of the road No inspiration, headed without a sound Down to the sea where I lay my head Gone for the summer, they left me behind for dead. It comes a motion from where I cant see His voice could soothe, his hands could free I found the morning when he went away The sun was setting , my hair was turning grey Suddenly the windows shattered at once... And I'm breathing, breathing Breathing I see your face I'm breathing in your vision Breathing but I wait for you I'm breathing in the morning I'm breathing. I had a vision on the side of the road No information, headed without a sound Down to the city where I move my head Until the summer, I wade in the crowds of dead. There comes my vision with his opening hands He holds me tightly, and stays for the morning Ignore the grey sitting by the door It's only us, now breathe out again once more I had a vision on the side of the road... And I'm breathing, breathing Breathing I see your face I'm breathing in your vision Breathing but I wait for you I'm breathing in the morning.

Bluegreen 04:07
We stayed up 'til the sun Peeked over the horizon The smoke from the chimneys In the half light haze Warm summer wind, nothing compares In the moment beside me the softest sound. Powerlines divide the sky And the sun was a candle Gravel road into the dark I was thinking of speaking Trembling thought, shaking breath Then we reach the clearing. And it came over everything A wave, I will leave it up to you It will change over everything With the wave, everything. Powerlines divide the sky And the sun was a candle Trembling thought, shaking breath In the half light haze We stayed up 'til the sun In the moment beside me the softest sound.

I was close But that's not enough to move on The keys in my mind were withdrawn But in the end I chose the one. She was tracked Five hundred ways and that's that No one to hate but myself But in the end I chose the one. And you won't be the same After the years in the shade Lost in the haze I grew tame And in the end I cut your name. Don't come close. Lock and key Wax dripping through the paneling Under the light of the flame He whispers your name... I won't be the same After the words I say I've lost it all in the maze And in the end it was your name. Watched you live Travelled the plains to your tracks But there was nothing left And in the end I chose the one. Don't come close Oh just come close...

Night Hour 03:00
In the night hour The fading of the streetlight comes with emotion I never thought I'd be here with you The meadows sing out. In the night hour The hum of the city sounds like the ocean My girl, the light coming down The song out of your mouth. And I can't help falling in love with you. Night hour A shadow, a passing cloud by the moon This is how I will remember you in the night hour. And I can't help falling in love with you. In the night hour The fading of the streetlight comes with emotion I never thought you'd be waiting For me, in the dark.

I scrawled off Away from the sun To see the blue night on its way Out of the dusk. By corridors They can't see our figurines Keeps closing in on me With the wash of the trains going out. Closing. It's nothing but a thought The blue night train. Your face in the glow Of the streetlight fair By the old steel bridge The kiss that erases all. The mark of our love In your fading hair How the rain from above Rattles the roofs in the midsummer dream. It’s nothing but a thought The blue night train. Closing. It's nothing but a thought The blue night train.
7.
The seeds of ennui They grow through me Sewn into the bed Lurking in the red. I could live in these words Renounce and reverb Bite your tongue off Silver throw up. Just like the sun I'm in the ground My tungsten's fried I'll stay inside. The seasons of youth Subjective truths Doctored photographs Romantic past. When I'm lithified Between the lines Writing on the walls Become my faults. Just like the sun I'm in the ground My tungsten's fried I'll stay inside.
